With effect from 1 July, Finnish timber industry giant Stora Enso will merge its two business divisions „Printing and Reading“ and „Building and Living“ into a single division, the name of which has not yet been specified. The new unit will be headed by Karl-Henrik Sundström, the concern‘s current CFO. During the course of the merger there will be a tightening-up of the organisational structure and a concentration of activities on the existing already fully developed markets and sales regions. As far as possible, central task areas will in future be concentrated at a single location. More detailed information will be provided by the company as soon as negotiations with employee representatives have been concluded.
