Biomass Fuel Vietnam orders pellet plant from Hekotek

The Vietnamese company Biomass Fuel Vietnam recently ordered a complete pellet plant from the Estonian plant manufacturer Hekotek. According to a press release published by Hekotek, the plant in the province of Nghe An is scheduled to be commissioned at the end of 2019 and will have a production capacity of 160,000 t pellets/year. Construction work has already begun.

Hekotek will supply the debarking machines as well as the chippers. Used drum dryers are connected to six presses supplied by Dutch CPM Europe. Low-grade industrial wood as well as eucalyptus, acacia and pine sawmill residue will be used in production. The storage capacities for the finished pellets, most of which according to Hekotek will be sold in Japan, will be designed for 20,000 t.
