Latgran is planning to invest €15m in the construction of a pellet plant in the north Latvian location of Gulbene. The plant, which is to have an annual production capacity of 170,000t of industrial pellets, is to go into production in the third quarter of 2014. According to CEO Jarl Wallden, the company recently received building permission from the competent authorities. Building is to commence very soon. Latgran, furthermore, has also already ordered all the equipment. The company has not disclosed details about where it has placed the orders, however.
