Russian Sibirskie Toplivnie Granuli awarded contracts to build two pellet mills to Hekotek in January. The technology will be installed at two sawmills in the eastern Siberian towns of Nowaja Igirma and Ust-Kut. Hekotek will serve as general contractor and provide plant layout, the rotating drum, residual wood processing systems and all of the transport logistics. Dutch CPM Europe is providing the pellet presses. In December 2014, Hekotek landed a contract from RusForest to build a pellet facility with an annual capacity of 30,000 tonnes of pellets. This technology will be located at RusForest’s site in Magistralny, Siberia. Hekotek said that the three pellet mills are to start operating as soon as this autumn.
