In August, Derome Plusshus, a prefabricated house manufacturer belonging to the Swedish Derome Group, started trial operation as planned in the new prefabricated house plant in Varberg. During a tour of the plant by the Swedish Minister of Enterprise Mikael Damberg, Derome Plusshus announced the start of regular production of wooden building modules in November. The plant, in which Derome has invested a total of around Skr 250m, can produce up to 600 modules a year. Construction started last summer. In addition to Varberg, Derome Plusshus already produces at the Byske and Kristinehamn sites.
