Pfleidere has can-celled its plans for a sale of Thermopal, a company primarily en-gaged in the sectors of film-faced wood-based panels, laminates and components. Michael Wolff, CEO of Pfleiderer's Business Center Western Europe, informed the Thermopal work force of the decision at an employees' meeting convened on 18 March 2011. Thermopal's most important clients were then also informed. Following an enquiry by EUWID, Pfleiderer did not wish to comment on the new situation, and in that connection drew attention to the fact that they had also not given any statement earlier on their plans to dispose of Thermopal.
