Panolam Industries International, a US wood-based panels and laminates manufacturer, announced two new distribution partnerships with the British timber merchants Arnold Laver Timber World and B.G.N. Boards on 19 May 2011. The company hopes that this move will expand its operations in Europe, which it launched at the start of 2010. Panolam's products include standard HPL, ThickLam compact laminates, MelCor II colour-through laminates, fibre-reinforced laminates (FRL) and Leatherlam thermally fused leather surfaces sold under the Nevamar by Panolam brand. Its standard range includes 170 decors, with other decors available on order. All products are Greenguard certified and have been available in FSC-certified versions since the first quarter of this year. The company's entire product range is stored at a warehouse in Birmingham that opened in 2010. Nevamar by Panolam's sales office is located in Birmingham, as well.
