The European Panel Federation (EPF) has appointed new directors and has added plywood producers as members for the first time. The required changes to its statutes were adopted at a meeting of members held in Brussels from 24 to 26 March. Clive Pinnington will be the new managing director, with former secretary general Kris Wijnendaele named as the new technical director. Both of these roles are new. The position of secretary general has been abolished. The EPF created the two full-time director positions given the much broader range of tasks, which had hampered its search for a new EPF president for the past two years.
