Müller resigns as CEO of the Surteco Group

Dr.-Ing. Herbert Müller, CEO of the Surteco Group since 1 July, 2015, has asked the Supervisory Board to prematurely terminate his contract, which runs until 30 June, 2021, in the course of 2019. At the meeting on 19 December, the Supervisory Board complied with this request and voted in favour of Wolfgang Moyses as his successor. Moyses is CEO of Simona AG and is currently a member of the Surteco Supervisory Board; his term of office runs until the Annual General Meeting 2020. He is to take up the position of CEO of the Surteco Group no later than 1 November, 2019. He will resign from the Supervisory Board before taking over as Chairman of the Management Board.

Müller took over as CEO in mid-2015 from Friedhelm Päfgen, who had retired due to age. This succession arrangement had already been made in December 2014. In addition to Müller, the current Surteco Group Management Board also includes Andreas Riedl as CFO.
