The Swedish Setra Group has awarded contracts for machinery and equipment worth Skr 200 million to plant manufacturer Renholmen. According to Renholmen, this is the largest single order in Renholmen's history. The contract with Renholmen is part of Setra's Skr 300 million investment programme announced in October 2017 for the expansion and modernisation of the Hasselfors planing mill.
Among other things, Renholmen will supply Setra with a fully automatic sorting system with integrated planing head, using proven components and new developments. The output of the line is 3-4 boards per second, the sorting unit has a total of 36 levels.
