Finnish Keitele Group is increasing the budget for the investment programme it had announced for the Alajärvi sawmill at the start of the year from €25m to €32m. The investment measures that have been known about since the beginning of the year are also given more concrete shape in the press report published by the sawmilling company on 4 August.
The orders for the new sorting systems for green and dry timber, the progressive kilns, and for the new buildings for the new plant and machinery have been placed with companies such as Teräselementti, Jartek Invest, and Valutec.
