At 224,678 m³ (Oct.-Dec. 2021: 280,144 m³), Spain imported 20% less sawn softwood in the fourth quarter of 2022 than it did a year earlier. Whereas imports from France increased, contrary to the trend, by 7% to 56,880 m³ (53,335 m³), those from Portugal (-16% to 37,592 m³) and Germany (-8% to 42,923 m³) decreased.
