Sawlog prices in Austria stable at last month’s level

Demand for softwood sawlogs has slackened again slightly in Austria over the last few weeks. Austria’s Chambers of Agriculture (LWK-Landwirtschlaftskammern Österreich), based in Vienna, believe the domestic sawmills have largely adequate supplies until the middle of 2024.
