Reduction in Russian log exports to Japan

Russian log exports to Japan in 2012 were 20.2% lower than the year before at 272,634 m³ (2011: 341,639 m³). The import statistics published in the Japan Lumber Journal show that larch imports increased slightly by 1.8% to 110,150 m³ (108,155 m³).
