US-American Pike Lumber Company began carrying through expansion investment measures at the beginning of June. Production capacity in Milan, one of Pike Lumber Company’s three facilities, is to be doubled at a cost of approximately $3.4m. New sawing lines, maintenance, and sorting systems are being installed on an additional area of 27,200 sqft. Production capacity will total 8m bdft once the facilities are put into operation. The expansion project brings the area of the business premises up to 34,880 sqft.
