ISC will take place in digital format in 2020

According to the European Timber Trade Federation (ETTF) and the European Organisation of the Samill Industry (EOS), the 68th International Softwood Conference (ISC), originally planned to take place in Helsinki from 6 to 9 October, will be held in digital format in view of the corona crisis. According to an announcement published today, the online conference will take place on 8th October. Over a period of about four hours, worldwide market reports and, above all, forecasts will be presented online. Reports on the banking sector and the European construction industry are also planned. The digital ISC 2020 will be moderated by Keith Fryer, Chairman of the Timber Trade Federation (TTF).

The ISC 2019 was held in Antwerp from 16 to 18 October in the usual congress format. Around 180 representatives from the European and North American sawmill industry and the timber trade took part.
