Weinig has lowered its revenue forecast for 2012 amid the worsening state of the market as a whole. The company now expects to book consolidated group revenues of around €320m. This figure would be the same amount as last year. Weinig and Holz-Her, a company that it acquired in an asset deal that closed on 1 April, have delivered similar performances. Weinig, which specialises in machinery and plants to process solid timber, will likely generate full-year turnover of around €260m in 2012, the same as last year. Holz-Her, which focuses on processing wood-based panels, is expected to register stable revenues of around €60m.
