The British builders’ merchant Travis Perkins has acquired the remaining 70 % it did not own in Toolstation from Mark Goddard-Watts and his family trusts. Travis Perkins had owned a 30 % stake in the retail outlet and online tool and building products business, which operates 103 outlets throughout Great Britain, since 2008. Travis Perkins says the acquisition is an expansion of its consumer division, currently comprising Wickes, the DIY retailer, among others.
