Kingspan has established joint venture in India

Irish Kingspan Group has founded the joint venture "Kingspan Jindal" with the Indian manufacturer of insulated wall, roof and facade systems Jindal Megtec. According to a notification published on May 22 by Jindal Megtec, the joint venture has two production sites and a nationwide sales and partner network. According to Gilbert McCarthy, Managing Director of Kingspan's Insulated Panels division, Kingspan Jindal will also serve the markets in Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bhutan.

With the now announced joint venture, Kingspan continues the global expansion of recent years. In fiscal 2017, the Group announced a total of ten acquisitions with a total volume of €614 million. One focus of investment activity was in South America, where Kingspan is represented for the first time with four production sites in Brazil and one plant in Colombia following the acquisition of 51 % of all shares in Isoeste Construtivos Isotérmicos and PanelMET. Since the acquisition of Spanish Grupo Synthesia completed at the beginning of March, Kingspan now also has production capacities in Southern Europe.
