Russia: 38% drop in lumber exports to the EU

Eurostat figures for the first half of 2008 tell that comparing the same period one year ago Russian exports of rough-sawn softwood had reduced by 38% to 1.908m m³ (3.069m). Russian shipments of sawn timber to Germany reduced by 35% to 296,289 m³ (454,856). Exports to Great Britain dropped by 42% to 211,152 m³ ...
