According to provisional figures published on 25 March, German Westag & Getalit experienced opposing trends in the two divisions Surfaces/Elements and Doors/Frames in the 2014 financial year. Turnover in the Surfaces/Elements division declined by 4.8% to €98.0m on account of the continuing difficult situation in export business. At the same time, the downward trend seen during the course of the year accelerated. The Doors/Frames division also weakened during the course of the year, but remained positive year on year throughout. For the whole year there was turnover growth of 3.1% to €118.2m.
