Russian Interregional Exhibition Company-Ural (IEC-Ural) reports that a total of 84 exhibitors were represented on net fair space of 1,554 m² at the wood-processing trade fair Lesprom-Ural Professional, which was held from 22 to 25 September in Yekaterinburg. Both exhibitor numbers and net fair space were therefore greater than those expected by the organiser in mid-September. IEC-Ural had at that time forecast 72 exhibiting companies and net fair space of 1,050 m². In spite of the last-minute improvement, exhibitor numbers were down year on year, after 2014 had seen a total of 92 companies represented at the fair. 62 of the companies represented at this year’s event were from Russia. The 22 foreign exhibitors came from Germany, Austria, Finland, Spain and Japan. The two fairs Lesprom-Ural Professional and Expomebel-Ural, which are held parallel to each other, recorded a total of 9,580 visitors this year, of whom 100 were from abroad.
