Hymmen starts construction at new site

In May, the German machine and plant manufacturer Hymmen Industrieanlagen concluded the foundation work for the new plant at its site in Halle-Künsebeck (Germany). Construction work was started at the end of May. In the first building phase, a roughly 13,000 m² assembly hall is to be erected on a roughly 50,000 m² plot in the Ravenna-Park industrial estate, with completion planned for October. The second phase will see the construction of a three-storey office block which is to be occupied in January 2016. Hymmen commissioned Goldbeck, as general contractor to carry out the building work. The city of Halle quotes the investment amount in the low double-digit millions of euros.

Hymmen reports that the 146 m long, 85m wide and 12m high building, which will include the office accommodation, will bring together the assembly division which has until now been distributed across three sites.
