At the end of March, Austrian Scheuch Ligno, which was newly established on 1 March 2015 by the Austrian filter- and extraction-systems manufacturer Scheuch started to build a new production and office building at a new site in Mehrnbach (Upper Austria). Building work is to be completed by the end of this year; total investment is quoted at roughly €8m. The Wood Industry division of the Scheuch Group has been hived off into Scheuch Ligno; the associated plans had been announced at the beginning of December 2014. The Wood Craft Trade division of Austrian LBH, a company which had been taken over in December 2014 by Scheuch with retrospective effect from 1 March 2014, was also integrated into the new company. The production of extraction systems by the Wood Craft Trade division of LBH will continue at the Wolfsegg site. The product range of Scheuch Ligno includes the extraction systems known as Sepas, Ligno filter systems and Ligno pipe components, as well as the newly developed dust extractor Dedust Pro.
