Team 7 increases 2020 turnover by 7% to €101m

In the 2020 financial year, Team 7 increased net turnover by 7% to €101m. Up to now, the company had always recorded invoiced turnover, which in 2019 had remained stable vis à vis the preceding year at €99m. Last year, invoiced turnover amounted to some €107m.

The corona-related declines recorded during spring could therefore be more than offset over the further course of the year. In this context Team 7 benefited from catch-up effects as well as a general increase in demand, particularly in the DACH region, which continued throughout the entire second half of the year. The most important market in terms of turnover is Germany with a proportion of approximately 50%. Around 14% of overall turnover is still generated on the Austrian domestic market. The company is also active in regions such as eastern Europe, Russia, China, Australia and the USA.
According to CEO and company owner Dr. Georg Emprechtinger, the individual product groups also developed along generally stable lines last year. The kitchen and sleeping segments, for example, both contributed approximately 20% to total turnover, and the dining and living segments approximately 30% each. On account of the increased demand for home office solutions last year, the company expanded its portfolio in this area and consolidated it under the wohnoffice T7 product programme.
