In the second quarter of 2012 the Nobia group was confronted by a further decline in turnover by 3% to SEK3.449bn after turnover had already deteriorated by 9% in the first quarter of the year. Adjusted to account for positive currency effects, the Nobia group’s decline in turnover in the second quarter was in fact as much as 5%. The EBIT declined even more significantly than the turnover in the second quarter, plummeting by 15% to SEK205m. Profit after tax amounted to SEK82m, i.e. 40% below the previous year’s figure. The decline in turnover resulted from a negative development in Great Britain as well as on the European mainland.
