Next year, the imm cologne furnishing trade fair will again be held in January, as had been customary until 2020. Koelnmesse agreed on the date from 14 to 18 January in close consultation with the industry and the associations involved. However, this means that the fair will be held for only five days from Sunday to Thursday, rather than seven as in the years before the pandemic. In the current year, the trade fair will be held as a unique special edition aimed exclusively at trade visitors, as a four-day imm Spring Edition event scheduled from 4 to 7 June. End customers will be able to attend the trade fair by way of invitation.
At the beginning of December, Koelnmesse entrusted management of imm cologne to Dick Spierenburg and Bernd Sanden. The two have thus indirectly succeeded Claire Steinbrück, who was appointed head of the nutrition technology business division per 1 June.
