The insulating-panel manufacturer Steico still considers at least a slight rise in turnover possible in 2012 despite the current difficult market situation. Parallel to that, profitability is also to be improved, which in 2011 was still burdened by increased material costs and extraordinary expenses deriving from the commissioning of several production lines. However, because of the prevailing economic environment, growth will probably be weaker than in recent years. Steico has not yet shown turnover and results figures for 2011. In November 2011, the company had corrected its forecast for the whole year slightly downwards on account of declining growth in the third quarter.
