Paceline acquires parquet manufacturer AHF Products

The acquisition of AHF Products by Paceline Equity Partners has been completed on schedule. The companies involved announced the closing in a statement to this effect on 2 February. The acquisition was completed through a subsidiary of Paceline.

The intention to acquire the company had been announced on 10 November. At that time, then-owner of AHF Products - American Industrial Partners (AIP) - had signed a sale agreement with Paceline. With the closing of the transaction, AIP has ended its involvement in AHF Products after just three years. At the beginning of 2019, the private equity company had acquired the wooden flooring division of Armstrong Flooring (AFI) for around US$100m and subsequently transferred it to the newly established company AHF Products. AHF Products currently operates seven parquet factories in the USA and one in Cambodia. Overall, the company employs approximately 2,400 persons. In addition to wooden flooring, AHF Products also offers laminate flooring and luxury vinyl tiles.
