Jeld-Wen Holdings intends to take over PVC window manufacturer VPI Quality Windows (VPI). According to a company statement dated 04 March, a binding purchase agreement has already been signed. The transaction is to be concluded by the end of March.
At its headquarters in Spokane, VPI has a production area covering some 7,500m². The company also operates a further 4,500m² plant in Beaverton, Oregon. The company mainly produces windows for multi-family houses, public buildings and commercial projects, and is predominantly active in the west of the USA. Jeld-Wen indicates that annual turnover of VPI amounts to US$60m.
