Swedish Inwido has reported a 15 % year-on-year improvement in first-quarter revenues to SEK1.047bn or roughly €112m. The growth in turnover stood at about 8 % in the first quarter on a like-for-like basis and adjusted for exchange rate effects. In terms of the geographic breakdown, Inwido achieved a substantial leap in revenues in Denmark and Sweden in particular. Danish revenues increased by two thirds to SEK225m in the first quarter. About SEK43m of the growth in turnover was attributable to Danish JNA Vinduer & Døre and its online distribution company Sparvinduer, which were acquired in April 2014 and consolidated for the first time in the second quarter of 2014. Turnover also surged by 18 % to SEK450m on the company’s home market of Sweden on the back of a positive performance in business with industrial clients.
