At the beginning of July, the Austrian window and door manufacturer Internorm started full operations at its plant in Lannach with its new wood-processing centre and thereby increased production capacity from its previous level of 800 to 1,000 wood/aluminium window units per day. The company reports that altogether ten individual machines have been installed on an area totalling 630 m² at an investment cost of €5m. The work force had already been increased by 35 to its present level of 341.
