Kibsgaard appointed as new CEO of Katerra

Paal Kibsgaard has been appointed as the new CEO of the US general contractor Katerra. According to an announcement published by the company on May 19, Kibsgaard succeeds the previous CEO and Katerra co-founder Michael Marks. According to Marks, Kibsgaard initially joined Katerra in 2016 as a member of the Board of Directors and in 2019 as Chief Operating Officer (COO). According to Marks, when he joined the company, it was already planned that Kibsgaard would take over the CEO position as soon as possible.

 

Marks is a personally liable partner at the venture capital company WRVI Capital in Menlo Park and will focus on this role in the future.

 

In addition to Kibsgaard, Katerra's management team currently includes Matthew Marsh (CFO) and Nic Brathwaite (CTO).
