On 29 September, Austrian Egger group concluded the takeover of the Concordia chipboard and MDF works (province of Entre Ríos, Argentina) of Maderas y Sinteticos S.A. (Masisa) agreed by contract in mid-July. The stipulated conditions had been fulfilled beforehand, one of which was approval from the “Diréccion de Asuntos Técnicos de Fronteras” of the Argentine ministry of the interior.
As such, the envisaged timeframe for concluding the deal by the end of September was adhered to when the contract was signed on 17 July. Ownership was transferred with effect from 1 October.
