The board of directors of Pfleiderer AG has filed for insolvency proceedings before the Dusseldorf district court on 28 March. The company aims to implement an insolvency restructuring procedure as debtor in possession. The district court has appointed Horst Piepenburg as temporary custodian. Pfleiderer pointed out that Pfleiderer AG acts purely as a holding company and that the operating business is not affected by the insolvency application.
