Fagus GreCon Greten will hold the next GreCon wood-based panel symposium in Berlin on 19 and 20 September 2019. The company had first organised the event, which was created indirectly from the old Mobil and Sasol Wax wood-based panel symposium, for the first time in autumn 2009. Five GreCon symposia have since taken place. This year, about 120 participants from 11 countries travelled to the event in Bad Homburg, Germany from 19 to 21 October.
The GreCon wood-based panel symposium takes place every other year, alternating with the European Wood-based Panel Symposium organised by the Fraunhofer Institute for Wood Research’s Wilhelm-Klauditz Institute (WKI) and the European Panel Federation (EPF). Next year, Hamburg will be the venue for the WKI/EPF symposium, which will happen from 10 to 12 October.
