Wehmeier becomes head of Felix Schoeller division

The Felix Schoeller Group has transferred responsibility for the "Felix Schoeller" division to Dr. Lutz Wehmeier with effect from 1 January. This division, to which the subdivisions "Photo Imaging", "Digital Media" and "Release" are allocated, was headed by Guido Hofmeyer as CSO until June 30, 2018. Hofmeyer was appointed CFO on July 1 as successor to Peter Cornelißen, who had moved to China. The Felix Schoeller Group had announced at the time that the vacant position of CSO Felix Schoeller was to be filled by the end of the year. Wehmeier last served as Vice President Business Unit "Healthcare" for Jenoptik AG from April 2016 to December 2018. Prior to this, he held various positions at Schott AG from January 2004 to December 2015.

In addition to Hofmeyer and Wehmeier, Hans-Christoph Gallenkamp as CEO, Stephan Igel as CSO for the business unit "Technocell", Georg Haggenmüller as CMO and Gerhard Hochstein as CTO belong to the Felix Schoeller management board. Gallenkamp, who was appointed CTO in January 2012 and COO in January 2017, took over the CEO position from Dr. Bernhard Klofat on July 1, 2018. At the same time, Hochstein was appointed to the Group Management Board.
