Ukrshpon has been producing veneer edges since May

18.06.2018 −

Ukrainian Ukrshpon started up lines for the production of veneer edges in May. The new and used machines had been installed since October 2017 and come from the engineering companies Kuper, Huser and FLM, among others. The investment costs for the veneer cutting machine, the joint gluing line, the three zinc machines and the laminating line amounted to around €0.6m. The plants will produce 30,000 m² of edges per month from raw oak, beech and ash veneer. Sales are to be made directly to industrial customers.
