Koehler boosted revenues to about €800m in 2017

Papierfabrik August Koehler raised its paper sales to over 500,000 t again during the 2017 financial year. Preliminary figures indicate that group revenues had thus improved 5.5% to approximately €800m. However, a large growth in raw material purchasing costs, above all for pulp and titanium dioxide, made a dent into income.

The Koehler group had sold a total of 482,676 tonnes of paper and board in 2016, slightly less than the figures recorded in 2014 (500,124 t) and 2015 (507,377 t). On the other hand, decor paper sales jumped to 48,753 t.
