Ahlstrom-Munksjö files to have shares delisted

23.04.2021 −

Ahlstrom-Munksjö applied for delisting of its shares from the Nasdaq Helsinki and Nasdaq Stockholm stock exchanges on 26 March as part of a squeeze-out planned by its new majority shareholder Spa Holdings 3. Trading in shares on the Nasdaq Helsinki should cease as quickly as possible. This step should happen in Stockholm by 31 May at the latest. The delisting will also change its reporting requirements. According to a stock exchange release dated 12 April, Ahlstrom-Munksjö will no longer publish interim reports for the first and third quarters. Since shares are still being traded at the moment, the company will still draw up a shorter business review for the first quarter. A detailed interim report that was slated for release on 27 April will no longer be published. Spa Holdings 3 will likely present consolidated first-quarter financials to its investors towards the end of June. Ahlstrom-Munksjö’s shorter report will likely be released on the same date.
