Sveaskog increases prices for pulpwood and fuelwood

04.10.2018 −

Following the Mellanskog Forest Owners Association, Swedish Sveaskog has now also raised its industrial wood and fuelwood prices. According to the group, industrial timber prices in southern and central Sweden, with the exception of the Värmland region, were increased by 20-40 skr/m³ depending on the starting level due to the continuing high demand. The price of fuelwood in the south and centre of Sweden was increased by 40 skr to an average of 220 skr/m³, the only exception being the Hälsingland region. The price increases apply to all contracts concluded from 1 October.
