Nobia’s quarterly turnover down third time in succession

17.05.2018 −

Sales revenue generated by Swedish Nobia generated sales revenue of 3.173bn SEK in the first quarter, 4 % less than in 2017 and down for the third successive quarter. As revealed by the group’s quarterly report published on 27 April, the reduction is solely attributable to the 10 % lower sales revenue generated in the UK at 1.367bn SEK.

This reduction is due in part to last year’s gradual discontinuation of supplies to the UK DIY chain “Homebase”, which had still contributed roughly 60m SEK to Nobia’s total UK sales revenue in the first quarter of 2017. Sales revenues were also down in the group’s UK project business and those generated through the kitchen specialist “Magnet”.
