Parador goes to Indian building materials company

12.07.2018 −

Nord Holding Unternehmensbeteiligungsgesellschaft intends to sell its majority stake in the construction element manufacturer Parador to Indian building materials manufacturer Hyderabad Industries. Both companies signed a contract yesterday. With this transaction, which has yet to be approved by the competition authorities, Parador intends to further advance the internationalization initiated after the spin-off from the Hüls Group.

Since the takeover by Nord Holding, Parador has expanded its overseas project business and established a joint venture in China, among other things. The company, headed by Lubert Winnecken as CEO and Hendrik Voss, recently generated sales of around €150m with around 500 employees.
