Visitor numbers at Mosbuild fair up by 19%

At this year’s Mosbuild building and interiors exhibition, which took place from 02 to 05 April in Moscow, a total of 77,338 visitors were recorded; this corresponds to a 19% increase vis à vis last year’s event. According to a survey conducted by the organiser Hyve Group, 46,297 visitors - or 60% - came from the Moscow area, 26,496 - or 34% - from other regions of Russia and 4,545 visitors - or 6% - came from abroad.

The split according to occupational groups remained virtually the same as at the previous event. 26% of visitors work in the wholesale trade. 21% in each case were retailers as well as construction and interior fittings companies. The proportions of other types of occupational groups are as follows: other manufacturers and service provides 14%, interior designers 13%, private persons 5%. The number of exhibitors, at 1,200 companies, remained unchanged; exhibition space increased by 13% to 90,000m².

Next year Mosbuild, according to the Hyve Group, will be the largest Russian building and interiors exhibition, and will once again be held from 31 March to 03 April at the Crocus Expo exhibition premises. In addition to Mosbuild, the Hyve Group also organises the Woodex wood and furniture exhibition - which also takes place on an annual basis in Moscow.
