For the "25 King" project in Brisbane, Finnish Stora Enso is supplying a total of around 6,000 m³ of wood products, including around 4,824 m³ of cross laminated timber (CLT) and 1,415 m³ of gluelam. The first deliveries from Austria started at the beginning of the year. Completion of the building is already planned for the end of this year.
The 9-storey office building will be realised by the Australian property developer Lendlease, with whom Stora Enso has been working closely for several years and has already realised several projects in Australia. These include the "Library at the Dock" in Melbourne and the "International House" in Sydney.
In Europe, Stora Enso also received further orders for major CLT and gluelam supplies, such as the construction of a 223-apartment student residence at Balliol College in the UK. For the Ydali Skole project in Norway, the Group is supplying materials for the construction of a school, a daycare center and a sports hall.
