Pölkky orders planing equipment from Weinig

At the end of October 2019, the Finnish sawmilling group Pölkky awarded a turn-key contract to Michael Weinig for building a new industrial planing works in Taivalkoski as announced in August. Besides the planing plant, Weinig will also be responsible for the works’ mechanisation and automation. Further details have not been disclosed about the plant and machinery supplied by Weinig. Pölkky is investing approximately 10m € in building the new planing works.
