The creditors’ committee of Theresia Häupl, which has been insolvent since March 2009, approved a takeover offer submitted by the Riegler & Zechmeister group of companies (RZ). According to the receiver Dr. Martin Stossier, the contracts of sale were ratified by 10 June; the approval of the competent insolvency court in Wels also has to be obtained. Stossier reports that the purchase price for Häupl totals €18.6m, whereby creditors will only receive a part of that purchase price on account of the general legal set-up.
