Effective June 18, European Special Situations Venture Partners IV (ESSVP IV) acquired a majority stake in Holzindustrie Torgau GmbH & Co. KG (HIT). In the course of a planned succession arrangement, the two managing partners Günther Hilmer and Karlheinz Lippmann sold all general partner shares of Erste HIT Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH and Zweite HIT Beteiligungsgesellschaft mbH as well as 80 % of the limited partner shares to ESSVP IV. Hilmer and Lippmann will continue their activities as managing directors as minority shareholders to ensure a continuous transition. In addition, Christian Pospiech will join the management team as the new CEO.
