Binderholz increases bid for Klausner to US$ 30 million

20.08.2020 −

The Austrian Binderholz Group has submitted an offer of US$ 30 million plus liabilities through Timber One Acquisition Holdings for the assets of the Klausner Lumber One sawmill. The competent court announced yesterday that Binderholz will thus be designated as the baseline bidder for the auction scheduled for tomorrow.

In addition to Binderholz, Mayr-Melnhof Holz Holding is also involved in the bidding process, in which Mercer International was initially named as the "Stalking Horse Bidder" by the court with its offer of August 3, in the amount of US$ 26 million plus liabilities.
