Finnish wood imports more than halved in 2022

The EU embargo against Russia and Russia’s export ban on roundwood and residual wood led to a slump in Finnish imports in 2022. According to figures from the Natural Resources Institute Finland (Luke) of Helsinki, Finland imported a total of 5.522m (2021: 12.537m m³) of roundwood and residual wood.
